SHHHH – Time for Bed!

Pitlochry Festival Theatre Announces two exclusive Bedtime Stories with Gyles Brandreth and Julia Donaldson as part of Winter Words Festival

Time For Bed Kids!

Cuddle up with your favourite teddy and listen to a bedtime story at 6pm on Friday 29th January, read by the wonderful Julia Donaldson, whose Gruffalo was recently voted the Nation's Favourite Bedtime Story. A small, sleepy event in a cozy corner, children are invited to come in dressing gowns and slippers for this very special bedtime treat, (lasting 45 minutes) courtesy of one of the UK's best loved writers. There will be a chance to meet and chat to Julia at the end. Mums and Dads are welcome, too - as long as they sit quietly! we have the first of two Bedtime stories for little ones!
Then on Saturday, Gyles Brandreth will be reading from his all time favourite bedtime story: "Where The Wild Things Are" Maurice Sendak's charming children's classic and cert for a Christmas box office smash hit as the film premieres on 11th December throughout the UK.
Both events are free to adults and £3 for wee ones (recommended ages 4+), however, a note of caution - numbers will be strictly limited for this intimate event.

History

From 1951 to the 21st Century...

Discover our history "When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
