TERESA PARNHAM was born in the North West of England in 1950. Teresa maintains she came to art late in life, starting 10 years ago after retiring to Kirkmichael in Perthshire. She says “I find art absorbing and have just completed my HND at Dundee College and I was very pleased to win the Amateur Artist prize at The Meffan Museum in 2011 as voted for by the public. I began painting with watercolours but now currently favour pastels and oil. I am inspired by the Scottish landscape and the uniqueness of Scottish cities."  We are pleased to welcome Teresa to this her first exhibition here at the Theatre. Â

"When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
