Pitlochry's ‘rolling rep’ system is an extraordinary feat of design and planning, unique in British theatre. This tour, led by experienced guides: many of whom 'tred the boards' here as extras, reveals just how we make it possible. Learn why we make costumes in such fine detail or how we use up to 4 miles/6 kilometres of wood when building sets – this tour has something for everyone and is sure to stimulate your senses, amaze your mind and tickle your funny bone.

Our backstage tours begin on 30th May and run Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the season until 17th Octobe
