Following the huge success of our inaugural event last year, Explorers will once again play host to two weekends of art and craft activities in May and August, with a variety of practising artists from across Scotland delivering a series of small, hands-on workshops.

An ancient craft, brought right up to date: participants will learn how to create their own willow structure, such as a garden deer, a ball, even a sheep! Both beginners and improvers are welcome. |

Discover the ancient rural craft of dry stane dyking. Centuries-old techniques will be revealed, and you’ll learn to recognise and name different types of stone (throughways, heartening, flatties!) whilst creating unique features and walls. |
